Fort Worth Zoo and Kirk Goodwin 5K

It was a beautiful day for the zoo. We got to see nearly every animal up close. And most of them were up walking around and putting on a show for us. It was a great day for the zoo.

The swing on the back porch here at the Flying T Ranch is one of Burton and Adalynn's favortie places to sit.
Eating a whole strawberry for the first time.

Matt and I joined Jedidiah, Shelley and Cori in running the Kirk Goodwin 5K this year.
Adalynn loves to run. And is acutally an excellent runner! She was in the stroller, but asking to run the whole time. So we let her get out and run the last 1/4 mile or so. She was cheered on by everyone  as she neared the finish line and loved every second of it!

January/February

Through January and February we got to enjoy super cold weather and snow, as well as, warm sunny days to play outside in short sleeves. We definitely miss the Alaska winters!! But it is also fun with small children to be able to get outside in the winter without having to super bundle the kiddos!

It is amazing how quickly they grow and change.
Adalynn loves to help and be a "Mama" in any way she can!

Aunt Coco and her pups :)
Just doing a little sledding on the front driveway.
Adalynn wasn't sure the doctor had her perscription right...so she thought she'd just wear a second pair of glasses to get it right :)

Olivia Layne. Need I say more?!

Burton loves to push things around....I think he'll be walking very soon!

He's a strong man, What can he say?!
She's got style.

Adalynn will seriously sit and watch Aunt Shelley for hours. She will sit there and watch everything that she does to take care of Livi. Then she will get her baby and copy her exactly! Adalynn will literally sit on the couch for 15 minutes with her baby underneath a blanket to let her baby "nurse". She is a dedicated mom.

Visiting Daddy at work is always a highlight of the week!
Burton follows me everywhere and constantly pulls up on my legs. He wants to be held 24/7. It is sweet and cute, but exhausting too!

Little Rock 10k and Half Marathon

We say that we were going to Little Rock for the 10k and the half marathon races, but in reality, that is not entirely true. We used the ra...
