Will My Eyes Be Blue?

Ady's eyes have been getting lighter....who knows if they will continue to do so and actually end up being blue or not. But as of right now, they definitely seem to be on course to be blue! Matt has green eyes and I have brown....so how fun would that be to have a blue eyed little girl?! :)
Over the last few days she has become more alert and has been staying awake for longer periods of time. Although this makes it where I do not get as much done, I am LOVING getting to hang out with her and get to know her little personality. She has been VERY chatty during her awake time lately! I think she may be like her dad in that area :)

I just had to take a picture of her cute little behind in those jeggings!!
Time for a couple of pictures with mom!

Wearing the adorable bow from Uncle Ted and Aunt Whit!

She continues to be a very smiley, content and happy baby!

Miss Chatty Ady

An Assortment of an Update

Last week Ady seemed to be a little sick. She was just a bit fussy and slept a WHOLE lot! This winter our group of friends have ALL been sick a TON! I do not remember another year like this. I mean, literally, EVERYONE has been sick a couple of time at least. Flu and stomach bug. Yuck. Thankfully, we have not gotten it! Ady was just a little stuffy last week and just a bit fussy...but otherwise we have stayed healthy. I am so thankful that God has answered that prayer for us and kept us healthy this winter!

Matt likes to bring Adalynn to bed with us :)  Before she was born I was sure that she would sleep in our room for at least the first 3-4 months and would probably sleep with us a lot. But. She was such a grunty baby in the beginning that I moved her to her crib after just over a week (when Matt went back to work). And, she loves her crib. She sleeps really well in it. But it is so fun to bring her to bed sometimes too!!

Matt says that Adalynn not only has my chin, my lips, my eyes (the shape), my ears and my facial expressions....but she also has my hands. In his words, "she has your pointy little fingers". But Ady has Matt's feet, chattiness, nose and legs. And, I think she may be tall like him....because all of her clothes are to short for her! But we'll see :)

All Smiles

This little girl has so many fun and funny facial expressions! We are daily in awe of God's amazing little creation. And, it is so incredible to watch her learning new things and changing every single day.

She LOVES her daddy. She is always all smiles when he is talking to her.

 She likes taking a bath....
for about the first 5 minutes...
then she is ready to be done!

She is a happy and content baby. She rarely cries. When she cries it is usually because she needs to eat or is sleepy. And even when she needs those things, she usually begins to "talk" in a saw voice to let us know before she begins crying. She sleeps 5-7 hours at night about 5 nights a week. She still has some nights where she will wake up and need to eat after only 2.5-3 hours. But overall, she is a good sleeper!

Little Rock 10k and Half Marathon

We say that we were going to Little Rock for the 10k and the half marathon races, but in reality, that is not entirely true. We used the ra...
