Gini, Doug, Kristen, Cori, Jackie Beth, Ben, Shelley, Matthew and I walked about 1/4 mile down the road from our hotel and road the zip line. The view was unbelievable from the zip line. I was not brave enough to let go of the cable to take pictures as I was going across though, so now pics of that. But trust me. It was amazing! It is always incredible to see God's creativity. It makes me think of all the places that I have never been or seen. Even though I haven't been there or seen them they are still there displaying God's beauty. Amazing.
Matthew and I in the market.
Colton and Shaggs. Colton's hair was crazy because his mama had just put sunscreen all over his head. He is such a precious little boy!
So happy. He loves his mama a lot. I love seeing that!
Colton and Papa.
Colton and Nate. He loves his daddy a lot too. I can already see how Colton's personality is going to be a lot like his daddy's. SOO cute!
Colton enjoying all the ribbons and boxes from the Christmas presents.
Colton and his Aunt Gini. So fun to see how much he loves all his aunts and uncles!
Matthew and me...with a little sleep in our eyes. Eating breakfast before the boat ride. We had complimentary breakfast every morning. It was delicious! Fresh fruit, eggs, refried black beans...yum!
Me, Shelley, and Gini. I miss these girls a lot! It was really fun to have several days in a row to get to hang out with the family!
My absolute FAVORITE expression that Colton makes. He makes a ton of really cute ones...but i think this is my fav!
Cori and Mama on the boat ride. Beautiful girls and beautiful scenery. Cori has grown up so much, it is crazy!
Whit fell asleep on the boat ride over. How anyone can actually fall asleep in that position is impressive...but she managed!
Nate and Terah.

We miss Tyler so much. I wish so much that he could have been there. Again, it is so hard to experience new things and welcome new people into the family without him here. The good times are sometimes when I miss him the most because I wish that he were here to celebrate with us. I cannot wait to celebrate with him in heaven one day!
We had such a great time in Guatemala. The entire time there was wonderful. It turned out to be even better and more fun than any of us were expecting!

Sample Wedding Part 1 of 3

December 9-15 we went to Panajachel, Guatemala and stayed at Hotel Atitlan. We were there for Chris and Heather's wedding. We had such a great time with my family! And the resort we stayed at was gorgeous. During the 5 day trip I took about 1400 pictures. Needless to say I have had a hard time narrowing it down to decide which ones to put on the blog. These are all scenery type pictures. I will post wedding pictures and just hanging out pictures in future posts.

This is the market place in Panajachel. All the colors were so bright and vibrant. It was beautiful.

This is just outside the pool area at the resort.
This is the fountain that was in the garden area.

Just outside of Matthew and my room. The floors were all spanich tile and all the furniture was made of dark wood.

A little girl in the market.

We took a boat across Lake Atitlan to another town.

View from the boat.

In the market. Again. Beautiful and bright colors.

This is the view from our balcany at the hotel.

Tyler

Sometimes it is hard to find the words. December 21 brought about 3 years since I last saw Tyler. There are times where I don't even want to mention it. There are times where I just want to act like it never happened, which is impossible to do because I miss him so much...I miss his smile, his laughter, his voice, his hugs, his jokes......

Little Rock 10k and Half Marathon

We say that we were going to Little Rock for the 10k and the half marathon races, but in reality, that is not entirely true. We used the ra...
