Family in Georgia

These pictures are all out of order...but I am not going to take the time to put them in order. I am just happy to put them up at all ;)
We drove about 18 hours through the night to go to Georgia for 11 days. We got to see friends and family and had the best time catching up with everyone!
One day we went up north and rode the train with Mimi. Adalynn and Mimi on the train ride.
Aunt Lara and Adalynn doing some sparklers on Memorial Day. We stayed a night with Aunt Cheryl in Atlanta and got to spend most of the day with Matt's "Atlanta family". We had a cookout and spent time out of Aunt Cheryl's beautiful new deck overlooking the lake.  We had so much fun!
Burton helping daddy carry the heavy cooler :)
Hanging out by the water on the deck.
 Train ride.

Hanging out at the ranch with Pops and Nana and all of our cousins there!
Adalynn, Orson and Evan had a great time helping Nana feed the baby sheep, named Salt and Pepper. And they loved getting to go for a ride on the four wheeler!

Adalynn and Burton both LOVED being at the ranch and seeing all the animals. I didn't get as many pictures as I had planned, because we were busy enjoying our time with family :)

25 weeks Baby #3

25 week along and still feeling good. Mostly. I guess I am starting to feel a little huge. But that is really just me being vain and concerned about how I look. Selfish. But, I do not hurt or ache anywhere! I have plenty of energy...and overall don't even really feel that pregnant! So, for that I am very thankful. I am feeling baby move all the time, which is my favorite. And, Matt can now occasionally feel baby from the outside of my belly as well.
We have chosen names and have decided to share them!
If a girl arrives: Ellinore Raine (Ellie for short after Matt's grandmother)
If a boy arrives: Huck Matthew

Adalynn and Burton are so excited and both are convinced that they will have a little sister come September! But, I guess there is a 50/50 chance, so we shall see :)

Friends For 18 Years

Tasheena and I met when we were 14 years old. We were instant friends. I moved away from Kansas two years after we met. I moved to Texas and shortly after that, she moved to Michigan and then to Oregon and then to Florida. And then, I moved to Alaska and am now back in Texas. So, due to us living in such far away places, we have only gotten to see each other about every 6-7 years since I moved from Kansas 16 years ago. She lives in Florida now. Matt and I were going to visit Matt's family in Georgia, so I was going to be only about 4 hours driving from her. We decided we had to meet up! We each drove about 2 hours and met in the middle and got to spend a couple of hours catching up! I was thankful for just a little time with this girl.

We had an incredible weekend together. Thank you Mama for loving us so well and bringing us together for some much needed rest and good conversations!

Birthday Parties to Rangers Games

We enjoyed some outdoor backyard water fun at our friend Henry's birthday party!

It was so fun to have Sydney, Owen, Lincoln and Heather get to come visit for a few days at the ranch. I am thankful for the way that friendships continue to develop between all these cousins!

Going to Rangers games. One of my favorite things to do. I do not really particularly enjoy baseball and especially do not like watching it on TV. But in person I love watching it!! And eating the ballpark food :)

Thank you Lindsi for teaching Burton to draw on his arms!
Adalynn chose her own outfit. Since she does not own a chambray button down shirt...she chose this button down to wear over her dress :)
Burton has started wanting to dress himself. He chose to wear this baseball shirt, but he insisted on wearing it backwards so that he would be able to see the baseball. And, his new favorite is to wear these green socks pulled up with his running shoes!

Burton's 2nd Birthday

This little guy is two years old. How does the time fly by so quickly.
Burton loves:
Food: milk, grapes, fruit snacks, tomatoes, peanut butter, broccoli, and pizza.
Playing any sport: basketball, soccer, football, and baseball...to name a few.
Loves playing with trucks that have a trailer to attach to them.
Going to the ranch and checking the cows and horses.
Copying anything and everything that Daddy or Papa does.
Being cuddled.
Playing outside.

He does not like:
Sleep.
Eating meat (except for on the rare occassion).
When daddy leaves for work.
.....I'm sure there are more things, but I can't think of them right now.

Petting Mr. Moose. He loves to pet him and say hi to him first thing in the morning and as soon as we arrive home.
He loves to be cuddled and rocked to sleep.
Adalynn helping make cupcakes for Burton's birthday party.
Rocking and reading bedtime stories with daddy.
The cupcakes Ady helped make.

Burton thought that having "campfire on my cake" was the best thing ever! He asked for more campfire on his cake several times for the next few days after his party.

We are so thankful for friends and family that helped us celebrate this special guy!

And this video was a couple of days before Burton's birthday while we were in OKC with Nate and Terah. We had a little celebration with cake and "campfire" for him!

Little Rock 10k and Half Marathon

We say that we were going to Little Rock for the 10k and the half marathon races, but in reality, that is not entirely true. We used the ra...
