Our little friend Hailey celebrated her 4th birthday on October 6. She is growing up so fast!

Devin slept through the party :)

the Nugget

The great benefit of having a friend who takes wonderful pictures, is that I got to have a few more pictures taken of Matthew and me and this little Cornnugget. :) Thanks Sarah for taking pictures for us again!

Matt was being a goofball and making me laugh.

Jasper wanted in on the fun too!
The below Georgia beanie is the beanie that Mama bought Matt and me for our first little baby Cornett.

And this is the one that Mama bought for our second little baby Cornett.

We are so thankful.

Sausage, Egg, and Cheese Muffins

I made these for breakfast this morning. I wanted something quick and easy that Matt could eat on his way to work without too much mess. These turned out really good! I changed the original recipe because I wanted a muffin that had more eggs and a little less bread. After making them, I think you could even add a couple more eggs to the recipe (although they were really good this way).

Sausage, Egg and Cheese Muffins

8oz breakfast sausage, browned
2 cups Bisquick (If you don't have Bisquick you can substitute using: 1 Cup flour, 1 1/2 teaspoons baking powder, 1/4 teaspoon salt, 1 Tablespoon shortening, oil or melted butter...per cup of Bisquick needed)
1/2 teaspoon onion powder
3/4 cup buttermilk
4 eggs
1 cup shredded cheddar cheese

Heat oven to 350. Mix all ingredients together in bowl. Put dough in greased muffin tins. Bake for 20-25 minutes.

This recipe made 6 of the large muffins for me.

Maternity Photos

We continue to be in awe of God. Through our struggles with miscarriages and wanting to be pregnant we developed friendships with many other couples who were also struggling and waiting for God in this area. We continue to be in prayer for those that continue to wait. And we are rejoicing with our friends, Kenny and Emma, who had been wanting to be pregnant for 11 years! They have one son, Owen, who they adopted 4 years ago. And they adopted another son, Lukas, two months ago. They now found out that they are pregnant with TWINS after 11 years. God's timing is not our own. It is so difficult to understand and to accept during the struggle. But in the end, God's plan is best even when it may not feel like it.

We are so thankful for this tiny blessing that will join on family in late December!!
Thank you, Sarah Rafeedie, for taking these sweet pictures of us to remember this precious time in our lives.

Cornnugget

Baby is doing great! I started feeling the baby move around 18-19 weeks, but about 2 weeks ago started feeling Cornnugget move ALL the time. So amazing. I am so blessed by this experience. Matthew just started being able to feel the baby move this last week. The fact that we are having a baby is becoming more and more real to us finally! :)

Tyler David

Landon, Whitney and Peyton Jo welcomed a new little guy to the family. Tyler David. As you can see, he was named after our Tyler Blake. It is so nice to have a little Tyler around now. It is nice to use the name on a more regular basis. We have always loved to talk about Tyler and have continued to talk about him over the last 6 years, but now, we can use the name for this precious new little boy while remembering his Uncle Tyler. What an honor for him to be named after such a good man.
